ADDENDUM: keep your eyes out for 18-year-old bassist clay nelson from stephenville, who was playing with johnny's quartet last night. johnny says he got the coat-pull from joey carter and aden bubeck, who heard clay when they judged a high school band competition. the youngster, who's conversant in "all styles," is supposedly planning to move to the fort with a percussionist pal. could he be the next daniel stone? film, as they say, at 11.
