the fw weekly notwithstanding, the li'l stoogeband had the best night we've ever had at the moon last night. transistor tramps and harry has a head like a ping pong ball played great sets, and we actually made it through the ridiculous 18-song set list i'd made, including toonage by pere ubu, the dead boys, the heartbreakers, the damned, alice cooper and mc5 as well as the stooges. only non-snazz aspect was the new peavey, which was insufficiently powered to really cut through. feh. one way or another, this will be rectified by the time we take the stage at lola's 6th on july 16th with the strange attractors and the barry kooda combo.
