the "star trek" movie

...is real good. saw it at the hulen movie tavern with my middle dtr the other day. no spoilers here, but i'll just say that i've known those characters since i was eight and i was more moved than i expected to be, seeing them again after all these years. we really do get more sentimental as we age.
