it's supposed to be a '57 thunderbird

here's the car my sweetie painted for her school's sock hop prom. (it's a different kind of prom -- medically fragile, multiply-disabled kids in wheelchairs. they'll get their "prom pics" taken "in" the car once it's cut up, decorated with glitter and reassembled.) she says it looks like a volkswagen with wings. i think it looks like the yellow submarine. either way, i think it's boss. sorry i'm gonna be out of town for prom (although she always ditches me for a student -- worst "prom date" ever).
