further amp solutions

this morning, i plugged in mimi's peavey and dinked around a bit. i think it'll probably be good enough for the moon next week. its volume and tone pots are dirty/noisy, but the master volume isn't, and i won't be tweaking settings onstage anyway. funny that jake mentioned the "lunchbox" amp in response to my previous post -- i was talking to wizard o' sound andre at the market last night and he mentioned those. if we have stoogeprac next week, i'll prolly take the peavey up there to see if teague can hear it. between a half-stack and another boutique amp, i'd rather have something simple that's already paid for. i'm such a cheapskate.
