one of the vitamin vendors at work turns out to be a cat i knew when i was working at 6393 camp bowie the last time (the wherehouse music daze). he was a rep for universal back then. small world.

speaking of universal, i checked my hotmail spambox this morning and found a missive from the who's online entity announcing a 2cd reish of the who sell out, which includes both stereo and mono mixes of the alb plus even more bonus tracks than the ones that felt superfluous on the 1995 remaster. there was a link to the hmv store, who're selling it for the brit equivalent of 16 bucks (deeply discounted), but i'm trying not to use mr. credit card until i can get my balance down a bit. of course, the '95 versh will be _real_ cheap now, as fans with less sales resistance than i apparently have divest themselves to make way for the new latest-greatest. and i've still got my beloved vinyl copy.
