my folks

my big sis says our dad's now havng
"pleasant hallucinations":
that his brother spent the night
(not sure whether it's the one who's dead
or the one who lives in florida)
and used to come have a beer with him on fridays.
our ma mainly sits in her room, reading and watching tv.
my sis says "he seems to be trying to hold on,
while she's content to forget."

i miss them.
