stooges 1971

now this is more like it: four sets of the stooges with both ron and williamson on guitar, recorded by audience members during that lineup's brief (roughly two month) existence, brought to you by the brit label responsible for the sonic's rendezvous band and stooges heavy liquid box sets. act fast; they're only making 1000, and when they're gone, they're _gone_. those who've only heard the abysmally shitty boot of the st. louis show on starfighter might be leery, but label honcho carlton sandercock (who also had the millennium label that released the great yardbirds cumular limit set) doesn't release anything that's not snazz.

$57.25 (at current rates) is kinda pricey, but still ... hmm ....

I think it's a very fair price, they pay the band, they probably had to pay a bit to Danny Fields for the tapes. If you're a true fan of the Stooges don't dick about - buy it.
